Rajeshwari the wife of noted Kannada writer KP Poornachandra Tejasvi and daughter-in-law of Jnanpeeth awardee Kuvempu died due to illness at a hospital at Bengaluru on Tuesday. She was 84.

After death of Tejasvi, Rajeshwari was living alone at Hand Post farm at Moodagere and shifted to her daughter’s place at HSR Layout at Bengaluru. Rajeshwari also penned Kannada books “Nanna Tejasvi” and “Namma Maneguu Bandaru Gandiji”.

The mortal remains of Rajeshwari has been kept at daughte’s house and as per her wish it would be donated to a hospital for medical studies.
