At the accident near the Kovinkoppa cross of the at the Bekavad-Beedi road that comes between the Belagavi Haliyal State Highway yesterday afternoon 1 has caused to death at the spot and the 3 have been severely injured.

It is said as the accident took place between 2 two wheelers and a tourist cruiser and the victim caused to death was a two wheeler rider Yamaku Yamakar (60) resident of Cheralyacha Wada of Kanur village, Chandgad taluk. The other 3 injured at the incident have been shifted to the hospital at Belagavi.
