Speaking to medias after a video conference with the DCs, DHOs and the other administrators of the flood affected areas including Belagavi and Vijaypur the health minister informed as villages in several parts of North Karnataka are waterlogged due to torrential rain. According to the information collected by the officials of the districts it is clear as most of the villages of North Karnataka are in precarious condition.
The care centers have already been established and the nutritious food has been strictly ordered to be provided. He said he has instructed the administrations of the flood affected districts to spray a disinfectant solution around care centers opened in the districts and pure drinking water has been made mandatory.
