An incident of a massive tree falling on the bike and two lucky men escaping death with the minor injuries has taken place at the Khanapur-Nandgad road.

The incident has taken place near the Lalawadi and the victims namely Shashidhar Shakayappa Sonoli (71) and Shivappa Negihal have escaped death with some minor injuries.

The locals alleged as there are some tress at the road that are too old and are supposed to be cut. Due to the ignorance of the Forest Dept. and the Public Work Dept. such tress are falling by themselves and such incidents are taking place.
