Rivers in chikkodi taluk are overflowing as the coastal areas of Maharashtra are witnessing heavy rains. Rivers have elevated 12 meters above the level and the moment of water is 5times more than the usual moment in the areas of Chikkodi and Nippani.

Further, Vedganga, Dudhganga and Kirshna rivers are reaching above the level. Kallol, Yadnur,Manjhri,Saudatti, Malikvad, Dattawad, Eksamba, Danwad, Jatrat, Bheevshi, Bhoj, Kaardgaa, Akkol, Sidnal, Mamdapur, Kunnur ,Hunnurgi are witnessing the overflowing of rivers.
