Burglars in the early hours on Thursday made away cash of ₹ 40,000 and silver ornaments weighing 200 from Mallikarjun Santosh Natikar’s house at last bus stop in Sadashiva nagar.

Natikar’s family had locked the house and been to its relatives house at Harugeri in Raibhag taluk on Monday and returned after it was informed about the incident. Burglars had locked the latch on the house at first floor before burgling. The broke open the lock of the steel cupboard and madeaway the things and cash.

A case has been registered with APMC police.
