City corporation all set to host election for 58 wards  in belagavi city , Notification process and code of conduct to be start from 16 August.
Karnataka Election commission have declared to conduct Belagavi City corporation elections and other 2 cities.in this regard Addressing to media person DC M G Hiremath said Nominations for 58 wards to be start from 16 August. To submit Filing of  Nomination papers ,arrangement have been made in 5 sub division office of city corporation limits   & as  the election commission have directed  to follow  Covid  SOP rules  in all Nomination centre , procession ,huge gathering are been prohibited, 23 August will be last date for filing nominations ,scrutiny on 24 withdrawal on 26 August..
Polling to be held on 3rd September in polling booths, sanitization will be done. Voters will be checked before entering polling booth in all polling centres  .from morning 7am to 5pm voting will be done in EVM machines ,And counting to be held in B k model school on 6 September. Special officers have been appointed to observe Election process. Cases will be registered against violating of code of conduct, said DC Hiremath
