He applauded the Vijayapur district administration for holding control in spreading of the Corona Virus saying the officials, COVID warriors were doing good work, the district stands on top place in the state in vaccination and expressed confidence that the third wave of the pandemic would not hit to the district.

As a few districts where the rate of COVID-19 Positivity is more than 1% were being observed weekend curfew, Vijayapur BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal took the experts to task for given such an advise to and also to the government for following the same.

Speaking after dedicating Mother and Children hospital at the district hospital campus at Vijayapur on Sunday, Aug 22, he asked the experts and the government whether the corona virus comes only on second half days of Saturday and Sunday as curfew would be in force during that time.

He said the government allowed public meeting where thousands participate whereas remembered Corona Virus and put about 50 conditions to install Ganesh idols in public places. He said people would not care for such conditions put only to the celebrations of Hindu festivals.

He said ho told the government order on celebrating the Ganesh festival with CM Basavaraj Bommai who visited Alamatti reservoir on Saturday, Aug 21 and told him they would not bothered for such conditions.

None as ‘Firebrand’ for his aggressiveness Hinduism, Yatnal said “Neither me nor Hindus care not to the government conditions, at last they may shot me”, and called the organisations do not scare with the government orders and celebrate the festival in grand manner.
