A total 434 forms were submitted on the last day of submission of the papers on Aug 23. The nomination submission process was started from Aug 16.
Except BJP, not even national party Congress fielded candidates to all the wards.
The scrutiny of the submitted nomination papers will be held on Aug 25, Wednesday, and election will be held on Sept 3 and counting of votes on Sept 6.
