The Central Team to assess the damage and loss caused to the  recent rain and flood has arrived to the district on Sunday.

The team will visit Khanapur, Belagavi, Hukkeri and Gokak taluks on Sunday and Athani, Kagawad, Chikkodi and Nippani on Monday.

The district was badly affected with rains in few taluk and due to floods in few other taluks. All the rivers at the district flown over in rains at June, July and early August.
