The process to remove the illegally constructed temple, worship places will be started after Ganesh festival.

Speaking to newspersons at Belagavi on Tuesday, Belagavi DC MG Hiremath said that there were 49 such places constructed illegally and on public places like roads in City Corporation limits, of which 17 were removed and rest would be after completion the festival.

He said people, organizations and the trusts committees would be taken into confidence to remove the illegal structures. He said a few with an intention to got protected their building constructed illegally have got constructed such structures.

He said the corporation official have conducted surveys of such places. There are four such places also in Nippani town, he said.
