A woman and her grandson died due to electrocution at Maddi galli in Sankeshwar town on Saturday night.

Shantawwa Dundappa Bastwadi and her grandson Siddharth Bapu Bastwadi were the deceased. Shantawwa who had gone back her home for a work was electrocuted and Siddharth also fied when he too went back and tried to pull the former.

It was said the power was passing on the earth backside the house due to rains on Saturday. Shantawwa’s daughter-in-law also suffered a shock in the incident.
