Belagavi : As said to be used defamatory words against Belagavi Rural Congress MLA Laxmi Hebbalkar, the State Panchamasali Women Block has filed a suit against former BJP MLA Sanjay Patil with State Women Commission.

State Panchamasali Women Block president Veena Kashyapanavar filed complaint against Patil with State Women Commission Chairperson Prameela Naidu and urged to initiate legal action against him as he insulted MLA Laxmi in his speeches. His speech were defamatory not only Laxmi but to entire women flock.

Prameela said she would proceed with the news reports, video clips of Patil’s comments.

MLA Patil who was defeated by Laxmi in last assembly election allegedly used defamatory words against her in connection with banners that displayed in a few villages related to the condition of the roads. The matter was leading to war of words between them.
