In yet another blow down to JD(S) which leaders turning face to other parties, its leader Ashok Pujari has stepped another feet ahead toward Congress.

Pujari the major hope of JD(S) in north Karnataka with Lingayat track, who met former CM Siddaramaiah last week has met KPCC president DK Shivakumar at Bengaluru on Tuesday and expressed his willing of joining the party.

A farmer leader from Gokak, Pujari gave a hard hit to Jarkiholis at Gokak, despite vain attempts against them in electrol politics, especially Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi, he has been considered as the trust worthy and not a corrupt.

Pujari, after Basavaraj Horatti, Chairman, Karnataka Legislative Council, was the only hope of JD(S) in north Karnataka.

Congress expected Pujari, a Jangam, of fielding against Ramesh Jarkiholi from Gokak constituency in next general election.
