Giving boost to the Opposition that Eenforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax (IT) departments target only them and not those in BJP, Sangli BJP MP Sanjay Patil indirectly said those in the saffon party don’t have fear of ED, ITs. He said “ED will not come after me, because I’m in BJP”, which pushed his party to the humiliation station.

Speaking after inaugurating a shopping mall in Sangli, he said that which is expected to create spark. Indirectly stated that ED, ITs bother not about those in BJP, he added that
“We borrow loans from banks to purchase Rs 40 lakh luxury cars, but ED not follow use because we are in BJP”.

Referring to Harshvardhan Patil, who left the Congress in 2019, the BJP MP said that he gets sound sleep because the central agencies do not come after him “for inquiries”.

This comes amid the Maha Vikas Aghadi-led Maharashtra government’s allegations that the Centre has been using the central agencies against the opposition leaders.

It may be recalled that NCP leader Chhaghan Bhujabal had said the narcotics that said to be found with Aryan Khan would turned to sugar if Shaharukh Khan join BJP.
