A 9th standard boy student from GV Joshi Rotary School at Adarsh nagar in Hubballi tested positive of COVID-19 for which the school was sanitised and shutdown from Wednesday. The students’ sister who is a student of SDM Medical College at Dharwad is also tested positive of the virus. The boy was detected infected when his entire family was cheacked after his sister was found positive, last week.

The matter gone viral and patent of the school have gone panic and rushing their children to the covid testing labs and hospitals.

The boy who was said to be suffering with covid symptoms was tested positive and has been quarantined at his home.

School Principal Naresh Patil said all the students were sent to their home soon after knowing the test report of the boy. Entire campus was sanitised and declared holiday till Monday.
