Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has expressed his grief at the death of Chief of Defence Staff, Gen.Bipin Rawat.

Death of Gen.Rawat, his wife and other defence personnel in the helicopter crash is most shocking and unfortunate. I pray to the almighty to give the strength to his family to withstand this loss, Bommai said in his condolence message.
