BJP through its official twitter handle alleged that Congress was behind the three incidents occurred in state and Maharashtra.

BJP said Congress was behind torching the Karnataka flag at Kolhapur, behind insulting to Shivaji statue at Bengaluru and damaging the Sangolli Rayanna statue in Belagavi.

Congress wanted to utilise the political benefit for these incidents and reacting gor its own acts.
