Mandya : Four among the 67 students of nursing college of Aadhichunchangiri at Nagamangala taluk in Mandya district have been tested positive of coronavirus.

The students who left back to college on Dec 20 were on one-week isolation and four among them have been found positive after their swabs were tested. The students were been quarantined at the covid care ward of the college. The swabs of the positives have been sent to test for genome sequence of Omicron.

Those swabs of those who were in touch of the positives have been sent to test.

A surgeon of Aadhichunchangiri hospital and two medical officers of Bellur Health Centers have also been tested positive of the virus.
