Three people from Belagavi were killed on the spot when the car they were travelling rammed into an ongoing tanker in Chitradurga district on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Seema, 45, Ramesh 55, and Vishwanath 65. They were heading to Bengaluru when their car dashed to a tanker from rare side near Hiriyuru. The CCTV footages at Guyilaalu Toll Plaza showed that the car was moving in high speeed.
