Belagavi : Burglars madeaway with cash and gold ornaments from BDCC bank at Muragod in Savadatti taluk between Saturday night to Sunday morning.

Gained entry into bank by breaking open the door and madeaway cash of Rs 4 crore and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.5 crore. Burglars used the duplicate keys to open the steel cupboard and the lockers.

The burglary is the biggest ever in recent years.
