As Vijayapur BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal disclosed that he was asked to pay Rs 2,500 crore if wanted become the chief minister of the Karnataka, Congress leader Siddaramaiah said that “Yatnal is known for false, baseless and controversial remarks. Now he must bring to light who asked Rs 2,500 crore to him.”
Speaking to news persons here on Saturday, Siddaramaiah said “Yatnal, instead opening fire blindly on air, should clarify about who asked him Rs 2,500 crore to make him CM.”
Yatnal’s statement showed that BJP had kept open the chief ministers posts for ‘auctions’, Siddaramaiah said. He urged CM Bommai and former CM BS Yeddyurappa to disclose who and how much money they
gave to the BJP high command to became the chief ministers.
Siddaramaiah, who led the Congress government for a full term said he didn’t gave a Penny to any of his leaders to become the head of the government.
