Appealing strongly as not to do the cremation of the corona affected patients for any reason at the Graveyard belonging to the Lingayat Community the locals have sent back the corporation officials at Sadashiv Nagar Belagavi.

Sunday the corporation officers went along with the JCB to the lingayat graveyard for the preparation of cremation of the dead patients affected with corona. The locals reported about this to the ex civil servant Sarala Herekar. Soon she arrived to the spot and took off the keys of the JCB and has called the Police. She has opposed the members who arrived for the cremation of the dead, and has brought the situation into the notice of the KPCC President Satish Jarkiholi.

Speaking by the time she said many bodies are being buried illegally in the graveyard, and alleged as even the PP kits haven’t been issued to the staff of the graveyard. She further said in the graveyard some occasions take place so the cremation of the corona affected patients must not take place here. She demanded to hold the cremations at other graveyards.

After all this the JCB key was handed over in the presence of KPCC member Malagouda Patil and the dead body was sent to other graveyard.

How proper it is to send back a dead body from the doorsteps of the graveyard becomes a question now.
