As objected by Congress, the Election Officers removed the flags of AIMIM party that were installed at the polling stations at Kolhar taluk on Monday.

The AIMIM has contested for the election to ward number 8,9 and 10 for the Kolhar Town Panchayat and hoisted the party flag. There was verbal clash between Congress and AIMIM workers over the flag. Following objection by Congress, the election officers removed the flags. BJP has not come contested from these wards.
