Almatti dam storage capacity is about to brim due to the heavy rains in the catchment areas of Maharashtra. On Thursday, Almatti dam had crossed about  76.666 cusec. there are  assumptions  by KBJNL  that the dam will cross 5lakh cusec by today evening . Almatti dam storage capacity is about 519.60 meters and by today morning it has reached 509.60 meters. As water from the Koyna dam of Maharashtra is flowing towards the Almatti dam of Vijaypur due to the torrential rains.
