Close on the incident of house collaping at Badal Ankalagi in Belagavi taluk in which seven people were killed, such an incident occurred at Agasagi village in Belagavi taluk. Timely acting of house a member from the family averted a major tragedy.

The single-storey muddy house belonged to
Balu Kallappa Kadolkar and his brother Basavanni Kallappa Kadolkar collpased due to rain. Eight members of both the brothers families were living in the house.

On Saturday night, members of the family removed out the rain water entered their home and at midnight a member of the family saw a portion of the wall in the position of collapsing and brought all out from the house. Soon after coming out the house collapsed.

It was alleged that despite informed the officials in Saturday midnight, they arrived on Monday morning.
