Belagavi Kannada Activists Meets CM, Urges to Shift State Level Offices to Suvarna Soudha

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has assured of keeping the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha active by shifting a few offices to the mega administrative structure of the north Karnataka which remained nonfunctional.

 

Bommai assured a delegation of Kannada Organization Action Committee headed by Ashok Chandaragi at Bengaluru on Sunday, Aug 8. The delegation discussed on shifting the Border Development Authority, Border Protecting Commission, shifting a few state level offices to the soudha and naming after “Kittur Karnataka” to the places in north Karnataka bring called Mumbai Karnataka region. The renaming must be done before the next Kittur Utsav on Oct 23.

Former CM Kumaraswamy on Feb 16, 2006 and Siddaramaiah on Oct 14, 2014 convene the meeting of the Kannada activists at the soudha, alike he should hold s meeting, the delegation suggested the chief minister.
