Some of the vegetable vendors and the farmers have been selling their produces at the Samadevi Galli at Belagavi since many days. The passerby of the areas have been complaining about the traffic disturbances that rises as the vendors sit by the road and the buyers used to stand by the streets and didn’t used to mange to move aside till finish their business.

The passerby and the locals have complained about this to the traffic police and since three days the police that have noticed all this aren’t allowing the vendors to sit by the street. The vendors today started to protest when the police officials tried to move them form the area that created a brattle between the police and the vendors.

The North MLA of Belagavi that visited the area meanwhile all this has assured a separate line for these vendors as a remedy for the whole mess. He said the area that will be provided to these vendors will be having the basic faculties that are required.
