Former CM Jagadish Shettar said his party, BJP would release the list of the candidates to contest for the Legislstor Council either today ( Thursday) evening or tomorrow.

Speaking to news persons at Davanagere, he said party state In-charge Naleenkumar Kateel has sent a list of the candidates to get the nod from the party which could be accorded by today (Thursday) evening.

BJP is expected to continue Mahantesh Kavatagimath and its party worker Lakhan Jarkiholi also interested to contest the election scheduled on Dec 10. BJP and Congress have winning one each seats with the votes of their locally elected members of the panchayats. However, Lakhan’s contest may change equations.
