An incident of the angry younger brother murdering his own elder brother has taken place at the Ashte Chandgad of Belagavi Taluk.

According to the sources the elder brother yet unmarried was expected to take care of the family but instead of that he used to quarrel everyday at the house in a drunk state. The same way when the elder brother namely Krishna Kalkundri (30) has been quarrelling with his mother yesterday night in the drunken state the younger brother Mithun that returned from his work and has tried to console his brother. While trying to console his brother the younger has raised his hand on him after which the fight between the two went extreme. Finally the younger that lost his temper has attacked the elder with some lethal weapons and has hit his head. After all this severity when tried to take the injured to the hospital has succumbed to death on the way.

The Marihal Police has visited the spot and has registered a case in regards. The younger brother for now has escaped and the police has set a search operation for the accuser.
