Dr. Sonali.Sarnobat took the initiative to support the NGO  BARC( Belgaum Animal Rescue Care)and sent 6 camels to Pune APMC by private transport which were brought to Belgaum for entertainment purpose before lockdown. One camel died of weakness as, the owners were left with no source of income and the camels were starving during lockdown. As per HC order this practice is banned. But somehow these people brought them here before lockdown. With the cooperation of DC  M G Hiremath Dr. Sonali and the NGO have rescued the camels.
