Today the celebration of the Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti was held at the newly inaugurated Congress Office at the Sangolli Rayanna Circle (RTO) of Belagavi.

Paying the floral tributes to the portrait of both the national leaders the congress leaders Siddramaiah and D K Shivkumar lighted the lamp and inaugurated the after proceedings.

Speaking by the time Rural MLA Laxmi Hebbalkar counter attacked Nalin Kumar Kateel who recently quipped about Siddramaiah and said “I knock-back the BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel who pettily talked about the Siddramaiah who has worked for the development of the oppressed societies of the state.” She fired as “I knock back Kateel for charging on the leader who always has worked regardless of the caste, status and the class for the development of suppressed societies.”

Speaking next to her KPCC Working President Satish Jarkiholi gave a call to all the members to “work as the disciplined soldiers to make Congress hold the wheels of the administration in the upcoming days. He further suggested as a huge office has been established the congress officials must hold daily meetings, they must be active in the uniting of the party, must take the proper benefits of the office.” He further added as the “Dist. President Vinay Navalgatti’s responsibilities have been raised and he must work hard for the unity of the party.”
