CM Bommai Assures Smooth Run of “James”

Bengaluru : Actor Shivarajkumar said that his late younger brother Puneet Rajkumar’s last Kannada movie “James” which released throughout the world on March 17 has not faced any problem from regently released Hindi movie “The Kashmir Files.”

Speaking to news persons at Karnataka Film Chembers, after meeting Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, said the latter has assured of continuation of smooth run of “Appu” starer movie with the release of “…. Files,” hence there is no problem for the screening of the movie. “We must ensure smooth run of every Kannada movie in our state,” the veteran Kannada actor said.

“James” is an emotional attached movie to Kannadigas, this is not the time to rush on streets to protest, the problems were petty which have been shorted out, ” he said.

It may be recalled that BJP MLAs and the party activists forced the theatre owners snd distributors to take back “James” from the theatres for screening of “The Kashmir Files” last week and early this week.
