Congress leader Vinay Kulkarni who has been given bail by the Elected Representatives’ Court on Thursday is expected to be released from the jail on Friday, Aug 20.

Kulkarni the former Congress minister was behind the bars in Hindalaga Jail Belagavi since more than nine months in connection with murder of Dharward ZP member Yogeshgouda Goudar who was allegedly said to be murdered at his gymnasium at Dharwad by the supporters of the former.

After bail was granted the supporters of Kulkarni celebrated by bursting fire crackers and distributing the sweets near Kulkarni’s house.
