The Congress MLC S R Patil conducted a meeting with the DC and the other respective officials regarding the flood occurred at the September and October month at Belagavi Dist.

The MLC by the meeting collected the details of the losses occurred at the dist. and also inquired the progresses of the Administration in order of that.

Speaking before the meeting he informed as “I have arrived to collect the details of the losses occurred to the rain and flood”. He added as nearly the crop grown at 4L above acre land has been destroyed. Many farmers are weeping out losses as well many people have lost their houses. The reliefs have not been produced to the common flood victims. Presently only 20% reliefs have been released for the farmers yet 80% is about to be released.

Adding further he alleged as the last year’s victims have not received the reliefs yet and the present year’s victims are also in a dilemma. The govt. has failed to respond to the farmers as well as the others. He strongly alleged as the survey itself has not been completed yet according to the govt. it’s 25 thousand crores but as per my calculation the loss crosses the estimation of the govt.

He strongly alleged as the govt. has totally failed to respond to the flood victims and the farmers and has become completely ignorant about the issues.
