For the construction of the new railway line between Belagavi and Dharwad via kittur has been sanctioned at the cost of 927 cr. said Central State Railway Minister Suresh Angadi.

The railway line between Belagavi and Dharwad had been a demand since many days and now the demand has got power as MP of Belagavi Suresh Angadi has been appointed as the Central State Railway Minister.

On this behalf Monday Cetral Railway dept. has sanctioned 927 cr. project for the construction of a railway line between Belagavi and Dharwad via kittur, said the minister at the press meet.

The train will pass from Belagavi-Desur-Kanavikaravinakoppa-Bagewadi-MK Hubli-Hulikatti-Kittur-Tegur-Mammigatti-Kyarkoppa and will reach Dharwad. The estimated time is of 1 hour 15 mins said the minister happily.
