Due to the heavy rain at Belagavi a man and 6 livestock have occurred death. Already the reliefs have been given to the loss of the livestock said the Belagavi DC M G Hiremath.

Addressing the medias at the circuit house of Belagavi the DC said according to the survey due the rain 62 houses at the dist. have been completely damaged and 70 houses are partially damaged.  The relief to the victims that have lost the houses will be released soon.

He further added as the rain has damaged crops at nearly 35 thousand hector yards already the 14,000 farmers have been compensated with the amount of 6 crore 2 Lakh amount in total.

At the end the DC said as there isn’t flood at the dist. and the families that are facing losses have been compensated by the Dist. Administration. For now as the level of rain has decreased at the neighboring state Maharashtra so there isn’t any necessity of being anxious.
