DCM Ashwath Narayan conducts survey at the Hirebagewadi examines the land of RCU

The state govt. has decided the shift of RCU (Rani Chennamma University) to Hirebagewadi. The DCM and the Higher Education Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan said at the 1st phase 100 CR will be released for the construction of the new campus.

After examining the land allotted to the RCU at Hirebagewadi the DCM addressed the medias and said already 127 acres of land has been allotted, both the academic and the administrative departments will proceed works form here. None of the farmers will be forced for the land only if they give by their own wish then will be receiving.

He further added as it has been a longstanding demand of an own campus for the university and accordingly the area has been selected; it is hard to get land near the village so let’s not hurry for the land. He appealed everyone for their support for the development of the education dept.

He further said will not discuss anything politically about the affirmation of the land but the govt. will be working towards the overall development of the university the lands have been allotted by the continuous efforts of the Dist. Incharge Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi and all kind of facilities will be provided to the students at the new campus.
