The development works that are estimated around 8.5 Crore were initiated at Basavan Kudachi by Belagavi North MLA Anil Benake in the presence of the Panchayat Committee.

The longstanding demand of the area that is of 1.2 km cc road work throughout the main entrance, 1.5 km road development work and cc gutter work from national highway No. 20 till the connecting road towards Devraj Aras Colony, decorative lights on 1.2 km road and some other works come under this development project and it has been assured as the works will be soon accomplished.
