The DCM and the Transport Minister Laxman Savadi informed as many changes are being made in the transport department and in the upcoming days the VLTS ( Vehicle Logging and Tracking System) developed by the ISRO will be implemented.

Speaking at the participation of a private program at Belagavi said the thoughts of implementing the VLTS at the transport dept. in the upcoming days are processing. He added as the police can track where we are travelling as well as if the technology developed by the ISRO is made adjacent to the vehicles then we can get the information as where the vehicle is travelling and also at what speed. He said the VLTS will be soon implemented.

He further added as the road track isles in the Maharashtra, Goa and Pondicherry compared to our state. To end this PM Narendra Modi has decided and instructed the Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadakari to implement one state one track policy. The DCM expressed his faith as in the upcoming days many changes will be brought to the transport dept. in the upcoming days.

In total the DCM Laxman Savadi informed as the digital touch will be given to the transport dept. but how far the public will support the idea should wait and watch as on a side it seems to be disturbing the right to privacy.
