Today at the SuvranaSoudha of the Belagavi a massive fasting protest by the members of the Lingayat Panchamasali community under the Guidance of the Jayamrutunjaya swamiji of the Kudalasangama Lingayat Panchamasali deck was organized seeking justice to the community that has been deprived from the govt. facilities and demanding to add the community in the list of the 2A category.

The Water Resource Minister and the Dist. Incharge Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi paid visit to the protest location and has assured to provide the required justice to the community.

Speaking at deck he said he will be soon meeting the CM Yadiyurappa and will be requesting him to look after the matter seriously. He also assured as the longstanding demand of the community will soon fulfilled and the justice will sure be provided to the community
