Amid Covid-19 this time dist. level Teacher’s Day was celebrated by the Dist. Administration and the Education Dept. in a simple manner at Belagavi. At the time 35 teachers who have given an ideal service were honored.

Saturday at the conference hall of St. Anthony School the celebration of dist. level teacher’s day was organized. DC M G Hiremath and CEO of Jilla Panchayat Darshan praised the portrait of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by flowering and praising.

President of Jilla Panchayat Asha Aihole spoke by the time and said the teacher’s service is peerless; they are powered of enlightening the future of the nation, and wished a long life for them.

Chairperson of the event Belagavi North MLA Anil Benake spoke by the time and said it is teacher who converts a child to be a civilian. Parents are the first teachers of the child. The lessons of leading the righteous life should be taught to the children. He also gave awareness of wearing masks and using the sanitizers to avoid Covid-19.

Then spoke the DC of Belagavi M G Hiremath and said even he began his professional life as professor. He also shared some moments of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan’s life as a teacher. The teacher’s are maintaining their duties even at the critical situation of Covid-19. The role of teachers in forming a better life of a child is very significant. He said today he is at such top position because of the guidelines of his parents and the teachers. Next to this the felicitation of the 35 teachers who have given an ideal service took place.
