While trying to remove blockages in UGD pipeline, workers have damaged the line and now entire drainage line is blocked in Sambhaji Galli, mahadwar Road Belagavi. Residents have given complaints to respective CCB health/Sanitory Dept staff several times. But all invain.
After number of complaints to sanitary inspector in the month of april and May-2021, at last in the second week of June, 2021 some work was commenced . While trying to remove blockages in UGD pipeline, those workers have damaged the line and now entire drainage line is blocked. While doing this work a big pit of about 4 ft deep with excavator is kept as it is at the end of our lane.
Now it is filed with drainage water as the line is blocked.
Till today, 6 to 8 days have passed but no one from administration has turned up. We have also discussed this matter with asst to City Engineer. However, we are given only promises.
Health of innocent residents of our area is at risk in this rainy season.
