At the backgrounds of opposes by the medias, teachers and the oppositions the education minister has informed the general secretaries of the education dept. to temporarily withhold the Vidyagama program.

The education minister has informed about this through a post in the social media and has said as “I have observed various reactions to the Vidyagama project. The project was designed taking the weaker sections of the societies into consideration. Yet with regards to the concerns of the different sectors the program is said to be withheld for some time till the collections of the required data.
