Belagavi : The Market police led by Sub Inspector Vithal Havannavar raided on a group engaged in gambling in the open space near Hira theatre.

Eight gamblers playing cards were taken into custody from whom 9 cellphones and cash of Rs 85,890 recovered. The arrested have been remanded to judicial custody.
