Provoked with the religious shoutings by Sriram Sena workers near the the place where they were gathered, people of a particular community hurdled stones on the private bus in which the provokers were travelling in.

It was said that the Sriram Sena workers from Kolar were travelling to Duttapeetha at Udupi in a private bus who said to be shouted religious slogans when they reached to the “Clock Tower” area where two groups of a particular community were quarrelling. Angry with the development, the people quarrelling reportedly threw stones on the bus in which three people injured.

To protest against the incident, Sriram Sena activists held a protest at the place and urged to arrest those pelted stones on the bus.

Police detained four people said to be pelted stones on the bus.
