Belagavi : Rajendra Indrappa Paranakar, the Assistant Executive Engineer of Athani Rural Drinking Water and Cleanliness Board and office manager Deepak Kridhnaji Kulkarni arrested by Belagavi Anti Corruption Bureau while accepting bribe of Rs 63,000 from a contractor on Wednesday.

A person who was given a work under “Jeevan Mission” was asked to pay 3% as their bribe which to Rs 63,000. As not willing to pay the bribe, he had complained to the bureau and paid the amount as the their direction.

Both the officials were arrested red-handed with the bribe money.
