The Govt. never says as one must not learn other language and it won’t even prohibits form learning but the mother tongue must ne Kannada in the Karnataka the correspondence also should be in Kannada.

The residents as well as the officials living in Karnataka must learn Kannada as ordered by the Govt. of Karnataka said the DC M G Hiremath.

At the Compound Union of the Dist. Administration and the Dept. of Information and Public Relation an online program was organized with the title Kannada Implementation: What is done? What is about to be done? Speaking by the program the DC M G Hiremath said presently all the correspondences at the state are being done in Kannada language. In order to use the Kannada language more and more the Mysore Organisation and the Dist. Level Organisations are making efforts. There is a misconception among the people as for the competitive exams English language is essential.

He added as he is a Kannada medium student and has never faced any problems of language barriers. The one that learns his mother tongue properly will face no difficulties in learning other languages. Saying the above he gave a call to empower the mother tongue.

Sharing his experiences of Kannada Rajyotsava he expressed his pride about Kannada Language and Karnataka.
