Karnatak Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology, Department of Architecture conducted an exhibition to display students work. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr H B Rajshekhar (President of Professional Forum Belgaum). Members of Professional Forum Belgaum and INTACH Belgaum visited the exhibition and appreciated the work done by students.
The students of the Department of Architecture have won the Louis I Kahn trophy in NASA (National Association of Students of Architecture) India for second consecutive year. NASA has around 350+ colleges associated with it, where around 75 top Architecture colleges competed for the Louis I Kahn trophy in which the students of the KLS GIT’s Department of Acrhitecture was selected as winners for 2019-20 and 2020-2021.
The two trophy work was exhibited and the program was conducted under the guidance of Head of Department Dr. Rupali Kavilkar , NASA Coordinator Prof. Pratiksha Navelkar and Exhibition coordinator Prof. Jyothi Patil. The Chief guest Dr. H.B.Rajshekhar, in his speech motivated and encouraged the students to keep up and continue the good work. He also appreciated the efforts and mentoring by faculty of the Department. Principal Dr. Jayant Kittur in his speech extended support and encouraged the students and the Department for future endeavors. In the speech of Head of Department Dr. Rupali Kavilkar said that the winning of trophies is possible due to very strong academic processes, passionate faculties, good team work between students and staff of the Department. The students work was appreciated by Management members of Karnatak Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology.
