The Kannada Organisations’ Action Committee has urged the government to take back attempt to murder case filed against Kannada activist Sampatkumar Desai who allegedly poured black on the face of Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti leader Deepak Dalavi on last Monday.
A delegation of the committee led by president Ashok Chandaragi met Home Minister Araga Jnanedra on Tuesday night and urged to take back the case and also action against the police for framing the attempt to murder case which is false.
Kannada activist Sampatkumar Desai said to be doused block inc on Dalavi for organising a rally against the state on the first day of the Karnataka Legislative Session at Belagavi on last Monday. Police arrested Desai and framed the case.
